Sa�l �lvarez....natural talent?

I have read that alvarez has won his first fictory at age of 14 after a year of training. Until now he hasn't lost any fight and managed to beat up many older boxers. I know that training in early stages of age is better but do you think that he has accomplished all of this due to natural unusual talent or because he started training in an early age or what?
